Schouwen- Duiveland, a trip in pictures
I made a whole lot of pictures on the island where we live, and I thought maybe funny to post a bunch of them.
I took most of the following pictures around the coastline , no city pictures this time, well, what do you call a city, Zierikzee is the main 'city' on the island,
and it only has about 35.000 residents. Maybe not much for someone who is used to it, but I am very happy to live in the middle of nowhere!:-)
At the back is the skyline of Zierikzee;
The Zeeland-bridge, a 5 kilometer long bridge between Schouwen-Duiveland and Noord-Beveland;
Brouwershaven very early in the morning;
And the last picture is one of the Oosterscheldekering, or, as you can say in English, the Eastern
Scheldt storm surge barrier, very important because it protect us from flooding.
Your photographs are very beautiful.
